Monsters and Magic (Piano Duet Concert)

Pianists Neal Figueroa and Sara Peaslee present a family program of classical works and film music set to thrill and chill the audience for Halloween. The program will include spooky works by Bach, Beethoven, Saint-Saens, and more!
Be sure to attend in costume! The recital will be followed by trick-or-treating around the church, as well as games and snacks in the Fellowship Hall.
About the Artists
Neal Figueroa is a professional musician based in Pueblo, Colorado and has served on the artistic staffs of nearly fifty musicals and operettas. He has had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with many performers over the years, ranging from young beginners to Broadway professionals. During the summers, Neal serves as Music Director for elite summer programs for young theatrical artists, such as Stagedoor Manor and Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts. He currently holds the position of Director of Music Ministries at First Presbyterian Church.
Sara Peaslee received her Bachelor of Arts degree in piano performance and Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the University of Southern Colorado (now Colorado State University-Pueblo) in 2002. She and her husband in 2001 built a home in Pueblo West, where she taught piano lessons and tutored math until her second son was born in 2005. While being primarily a homeschooling mom of her two boys, she served as the Equipping Pastor for four years at SonRise Church in Pueblo West. During that time, she earned her Master of Arts degree in Christian Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary. While working at South High School in Pueblo as a math teacher, she began accompanying again, which eventually led to her current work as a recital accompanist at Colorado State University-Pueblo.
